Kidrobot is a producer and retailer of limited edition designer vinyl art toys, signature apparel, and lifestyle accessories. According to Kidrobot, it is "an innovative cross between sculpture and conceptual art" and "offers not only a powerful medium for today's international fashion designers, illustrators and artists, but also the creative canvas for emerging
street trends and pop art."
Kidrobot produces various different designer toy figures forms, including Dunnys, Munnys and Labbits. It is also known for its toy series, Yummy World. In addition, it produces limited-edition Japanese anime figurines and collaborates with the well-known television series South Park and The Simpsons.
Kidrobot was founded in a San Francisco, California garage in 2002 by Paul Budnitz. He moved the new company to New York City in 2003, and then to Boulder, CO in 2010. Kidrobot was acquired in November 2014 by National Entertainment Collectibles Association Inc.. Frank Kozik joined the company that year as Creative Director.
